Surf Life Saving New Zealand is proud to welcome Fulton Hogan as a Major Partner, supporting two of our most important initiatives for young New Zealanders: Fulton Hogan Surf Lifesaving Beach Education and the Fulton Hogan Oceans Junior Festival of Surf Lifesaving.
Together, we're helping more Kiwis gain the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to stay safe in and around the water.
A PARTNERSHIP BUILT ON PREVENTION
Every summer, volunteer Surf lifeguards protect families at beaches across Aotearoa. But preventing drownings starts long before someone enters the water.
Through this partnership, Fulton Hogan will help support Beach Education programmes delivered around the country, giving more than 27,000 children each year access to practical water safety learning and lifesaving knowledge.
The partnership will also support the Fulton Hogan Oceans Festival of Junior Surf Lifesaving, New Zealand's largest junior surf lifesaving event, which brings together more than 2,000 young athletes, future lifeguards, and their whānau each year.

Beach Education is one of the world's leading water safety programmes, helping children understand surf conditions, identify hazards and make safer decisions at the beach.
By investing in education today, we're helping build a generation of confident, capable young New Zealanders who can enjoy our coastlines safely.
Supporting the next generation of lifeguards
Surf Life Saving is powered by volunteers.
Across New Zealand, more than 18,000 members contribute their time and skills to protecting our beaches and communities. Many begin their journey as young participants in programmes like Oceans and Beach Education.
With Fulton Hogan's support, more young people will have opportunities to learn, compete, grow and develop the skills that may one day help save a life.
