Taylor's Mistake Surf Life Saving Club (TMSLSC) is a volunteer organisation tasked with keeping Taylor's Mistake Beach safe during the summer months. Taylor's Mistake Beach is a beautiful and popular bay which is accessed by taking the road over Scarborough Hill from Sumner. Taylor's Mistake is renowned for clean clear water, good surf, a beautiful beach and surroundings.

Taylors Mistake is patrolled on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays between 16 November 2018 and 24 March 2019. Volunteer lifeguards patrol from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturdays and 11:00am to 5:00pm on Sundays. A Regional Lifeguard Service is provided Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm during 17 December 2018 to 25 January 2019.
