Surf Life Saving NZ Acknowledges Fatality at Langs Beach, Northland

On the 28th of January 2022, Lifeguards from Waipu Cove were notified by SurfCom of an incident at nearby Langs Beach. The Lifeguards responded in an IRB and assisted with moving a patient to a safe location and providing CPR.

Surf Life Saving extends our condolences to the family and loved ones of the man who died. We also thank the Lifeguards, St John, NZ Fire and Emergency and Helimed staff involved.
