Surf Lifesaving turn to The Rock to save men drowning

'Save the Males' - that's what Surf Lifesaving New Zealand are asking us all to do this year with their campaign to try and keep Kiwi men safe and catch the attention of movie star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. The campaign is asking people to get Dwayne's attention by calling out to him on social media to talk to New Zealand men about safety as figures show that 89 per cent of beach and coastal drowning victims in Aotearoa over the last 10 years were male. Paul Dalton, the chief executive of Surf Lifesaving New Zealand, spoke to our producer Ellie Jay.
