BP is re-running their Every Litre Counts campaign in 2019!

From Monday 21s Jan to Sunday 17th Feb, BP will make a donation to SLSNZ for every litre of fuel sold in BP retail stores. This was incredibly successful last year for SLSNZ, and we are so excited BP are getting behind us again!

The more people that fuel up at BP during this period, the bigger the donation from BP . . .  & the bigger the allocation of money to our clubs.

The key to success will be rallying people to fuel up at BP over the promotional period. So please utilise your networks, and spread the message to all your friends and whanau on your Facebook pages, Instagram and twitter. Please share the SLSNZ and BP posts too . . . and make sure you stop into BP when you need to fuel up!

To help our clubs get behind this campaign we are giving away 20 x $2,500 cash prizes for clubs to win ($50K in total). SLSNZ & BP will select the 20 winning videos. SLSNZ clubs just need to create an engaging safety video for this campaign. Clubs can enter more than one video featuring a different safety message.

To be eligible for one (or more of the cash prizes), the safety video must:

  • START with a message about encouraging kiwis to get to BP to fuel up so we get a good donation
  • END with one of the 10 SLSNZ safety messages (see here on our website or here on Facebook)
  • Be of great quality, and be able to be shared on SLSNZ and BP Facebook pages
  • Filmed in an appropriate beach setting
  • Be no longer than 30 seconds
  • Feature Surf Lifeguards in correct SLSNZ uniform

If you have some skills in putting together a great video, chat to your club administrator and start filming. Remember to tag SLSNZ (@surflifesaving) and BP (@BPinNewZealand) so we can see it, and use #EveryLitreCounts #BP and #SLSNZ.

Start submitting your videos as soon as possible to give your club the best chance of winning! There is no limit on how many videos you can submit, so get creative and get filming.
Please send your Surf Life Saving clubs video(s) to Evana, and mention what club you are from, your full name, position at the club and mobile number so we can give you a proper shout out and the credit you deserve. See full details here.

So let’s go SLSNZ Members . . .let’s drive that donation amount upwards!
