Condolences to family and friends of Graham Crombie

Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ) is saddened to advise that current board member and friend of SLSNZ, Graham Crombie has passed away suddenly in Dunedin.

Graham was one of our inaugural independent board members and set the bar very high with his contribution to SLSNZ over the last 5 years, and leaves big shoes to fill for us and all the other organisations he has been playing a part in. 

He also contributed to many other organisations and companies throughout Otago, and nationally, including Dunedin City Holdings, Otago Museum Trust Board, Southern District Health Board and the Commerce Commission. He had a reputation for revitalising and lifting the performance of the organisations he worked in, and his experience, expertise and guidance would be sorely missed.

This has been a complete shock for everyone and our thoughts and hearts go to his wife Janet and the rest of Graham’s family as we all come to grips with this loss.
