Brand new IRB up for grabs in 2017 BP IRB Donation

Thursday, 19 January 2017

In celebration of our 49th year as partners, BP is donating another IRB to a deserving Surf Life Saving Club in 2017.

At a cost of around $25,000, they know it's not easy to fundraise for a new IRB, so they're giving clubs the opportunity to win a brand new one.

The IRB will come complete with all the trimmings - an engine, trailer, fuel bladder, two personal floatation devices and $100 worth of fuel.

Entries should explain how a BP IRB would benefit the club or community.

A panel of judges will select four finalists. BP staff and partners from all around New Zealand will then vote for the winner.

Past winners have included Otaki, Brighton, Muriwai and Tolaga Bay. Last year, Nelson Surf Life Saving Club welcomed the delivery of their brand new BP IRB.

Entries close at 9am on Friday 2 February, 2017. The winner will be announced on 20 February.
