Entries for the 2017 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships are now open.
Familiarly known as "The Aussies," the 2017 event will be held at Queensland's North Kirra Beach from March 25- April 2.
New Zealand clubs and athletes wishing to take part will need to follow the Surf Life Saving New Zealand entry process. The entry information and criteria has now been circulated to all clubs to enable them to check the eligibility of their competitors.
Club admins will need to fill out the provided International Entry Form for their athletes and return it to Surf Life Saving New Zealand sport development officer Ross Merrett who will complete a SLSNZ clearance letter for Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA).
All confirmations of entries or issues will then be communicated directly from SLSA.
Early bird entries are open until Friday January 13 and normal entries close on Wednesday March 15.
Visit www.sls.com.au/aussies for more information about the event.
