Surf Life Saving New Zealand Board appointments for 2016/17

We are pleased to announce the appointments to the Surf Life Saving New Zealand Board for the 2016/17 season, following today's Annual General Meeting at the Heritage Hotel in Auckland.

Elected Board Members
• Kate Barry-Piceno was elected for a two or three year term.
• Colin Weatherall was re-elected for a two or three year term.

The decision on which Elected Board member takes the two year term and which one takes the three year term is decided at the first Board meeting after the AGM which being held on 21st October.

Appointed Board Member
• The Board Appointments Panel announced they had appointed Vanessa Winning for a two year term.

Independent Appointed Board Member
• The Board Appointments Panel announced they had re-appointed Trevor Taylor for a three year term.

They now join the four existing Board Members whose terms are continuing for another year:
• Geoff Hamilton
• Brent Warner
• Graham Crombie
• Joe Pope

The Board thanked outgoing Board members Todd Cations-Velvin and Rick Stolwerk for their service.
