NVW is coordinated by Volunteering New Zealand and is celebrated annually in New Zealand during the third week of June to celebrate the vital contribution of the country's 1.2 million volunteers. This year's theme celebrates the time made by New Zealand's volunteers.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our charity organisation and it's important to celebrate them and the role they play in benefitting their communities and enabling Kiwis to enjoy their summers safely every year.
