New Zealand team named for European pool competitions

Surf Life Saving New Zealand is pleased to announce that the following athletes have been selected to represent New Zealand at the European pool rescue competitions, the Orange Cup and German Cup.

6. Natalie Peat    Papamoa
7. Samantha Lee    Lyall Bay
8. Steven Kent    Titahi Bay

The Orange Cup, formally known as the BeNe Cup, will be held from November 14-15 at the Pieter van den Hoogenband Swimming Stadium in Eindhoven, the official pool venue for the 2016 Lifesaving World Championships.

The German Cup will then be held in Warendorf, Germany from November 20-21.

The team will depart on November 12 with coach Steven Ferguson and team manager Mark Weatherall and return to New Zealand on November 24.
