Kubotas for clubs

Wednesday, 14 October 2015

Surf Life Saving New Zealand and Kubota are pleased to announce they are continuing the Kubota Trial Programme which will allow two clubs to reap the benefits of a Kubota 4-wheel-drive utility vehicle.

Two RTV1140s will be loaned to Surf Life Saving Clubs for the 2015/16 season; one in the North Island and one in the South.

This is the fourth season of the programme. In the 2012/13 season, the Kubotas went to Raglan and Papamoa and in the 13/14 season they went to Pauanui and North Beach. Last season, Warrington and Fitzroy were the lucky recipients.

Applications are now open for the 2015/16 season. Successful applicants will be announced on Friday November 6 and the Kubotas will be dispatched to clubs the following week.

The local Kubota dealer will deliver the vehicles to the winning clubs and provide training on-site.

Clubs must have a suitable, secure storage area to park the vehicle during the term of the trial.

For more information and to download an application form, please visit the Kubota Page here on our website.

Applications close at 5pm on Sunday November 1. Please submit one application per club.

Surf Life Saving New Zealand and Kubota officially partnered in September 2015. As part of the formal arrangement, Kubota will pay SLSNZ a donation of $100 for every Kubota RTV vehicle sold in New Zealand during the partnership.

They will also provide SLSNZ with equipment to support events around the country, including transport and delivery.

Kubota New Zealand is also working with clubs by providing special pricing along with quotes to aid their funding applications. More information is available via the link above.
