High Performance positions available

Surf Life Saving New Zealand is seeking applications for a number of roles within the High Performance programme for the 2015-16 season.

Athletes:

SLSNZ is seeking applications from athletes who wish to be considered for the 2015-16 High Performance Squads and ultimately help win the 2016 Lifesaving World Championships in the Netherlands. Applications close at 5pm on Friday March 13, 2015. 

Management:

SLSNZ is inviting applications for roles in our High Performance programme for a 20 month fixed term from April 2015 to November 2016 to run the campaign leading up to Rescue 2016. The roles include:

New Zealand Open Team Manager
New Zealand Open Team Assistant Manager
New Zealand Open Team Coach
New Zealand Open Team Assistant Coach
New Zealand Open Team Physiotherapist
New Zealand Open Team Doctor
New Zealand Development/Youth Team Manager
New Zealand Development/Youth Team Coach
New Zealand Development/Youth Team Assistant Coach
New Zealand Development/Youth Team Physiotherapist

National Selectors:

There are three vacancies for the role of National Selector.

This is an exciting opportunity to be an important part of our High Performance programme and the defence of the World Championships title won in France 2014. Successful applicants will demonstrate a proven understanding of world class performance needs in both pool and ocean/beach events and a current knowledge of talented athletes.

The successful applicants will be required to identify, monitor and select athletes to represent New Zealand in international competition during 2015 and 2016, including the 2015 International Surf Rescue Challenge and the 2016 Life Saving World Championships.

The coach of the New Zealand Team will be the fourth member of the Selection Panel. This appointment will be made prior to the 2015 State New Zealand Surf Life Saving Championships.
