SLSNZ announces partnership with NZ Drinks
Tuesday, 17 June 2014NZ Drinks Ltd, together with Surf Life Saving New Zealand, is proud to announce a new partnership that will help drive funds to keep Kiwis safe at their favourite playground- the beach.
Surf Life Saving New Zealand's logo will be featured on the Pure NZ 750ml sipper bottle and a portion from the sale of each bottle will be donated back to Surf Life Saving New Zealand.
NZ Drinks Director Tony Vesper says NZ Drinks is approached regularly to help with fundraising for some very worthy causes. "We do what we can to help, but with Surf Life Saving New Zealand, we are looking to build a lasting relationship that can make a difference in saving the lives of everyday Kiwis when they get into difficulty, he says.
"We are honoured to carry the Surf Life Saving New Zealand logo on our Pure NZ bottle and we will be making this product available to as many retailers and distributors as possible to ensure nationwide distribution, therefore maximising the contributions made to Surf Life Saving New Zealand. This process is starting with the rollout over the coming weeks into BP service stations nationwide and Countdown stores later in the year," he says.
Surf Life Saving New Zealand CEO Paul Dalton says it's an exciting move for the organisation to partner with NZ Drinks. "This is a great opportunity for retailers and distributors to stock a quality water product that allows them and their customers to also give a little to Surf Life Saving and help provide much needed funding to our charity rescue service."
Mr Dalton says interest for the product carrying the distinctive red and yellow Surf Life Saving branding has been very well received and he looks forward to seeing the product across retailers in New Zealand.
Work has also commenced on a 400ml Surf Education water bottle that will be announced in the coming weeks.
