New Lifesaving Services and Education Manager announced

Friday, 6 June 2014

Surf Life Saving New Zealand is pleased to announce that Allan Mundy has been appointed as our new Lifesaving Services and Education Manager.

Allan will be very familiar to many of our members as the current convenor of the National Lifesaving Committee and an active volunteer in the movement.

Allan brings a very high level of expertise in the education profession to SLSNZ which will help us develop our member pathways and public education programmes.

He also brings a lot of experience in the Search and Rescue area and, from his work on the NLC, a good working knowledge of SLSNZ, our processes and activities.

Allan will be based at our Mt Maunganui office and will start on Monday July 7.  In the interim, Nick Mulcahy will continue in his acting role and work on an induction programme and transition plan.

We are sure you will join us in congratulating Allan on his appointment and welcome him to the 'paid' side of the organisation!
