- Are you aspiring to be a future leader?
- Do you have a leadership role within your area or region?
- Are you interested in developing further as a leader?
- Do you have a clear understanding of your leadership, your strengths, your principles and your purpose?
- Are there potential improvements you can see, but are unsure about how to make them happen?
If you answered YES to any of the above, then BP Leaders for Life is for you!
The purpose of BP Leaders for Life is to enhance the ability of current and emerging leaders within the Surf Life Saving community to make a real difference to their clubs and across the wider organisation. In our environment, we know that leaders are effective when they are collaborative in their approach, are aware of their strengths and weaknesses and have a strong desire to improve.
Candidates for the 2014 BP Leaders for Life can register in one of three groups which will cover the Northern Region, Eastern Region and the Central/Southern Regions. There will be approximately 15 participants in each group.
What can I expect?
During the workshops, we have a series of guest speakers who will be speaking on their leadership experience, leading for impact and leading for change.
Participants will come out of the experience with an expanded awareness of their leadership strengths and areas of improvement, an increased ability to communicate in an effective and compelling manner, have a deeper understanding of how to build constructive relationships and lead change and have an increased understanding of how to build trust and be influential.
Win back the cost
Three lucky people (one per group) who get their applications in for the BP Leaders for Life before 5pm on Friday April 11 will win back the user-pays component of the cost.
