Three clubs will be holding special celebrations over Labour Weekend as Surf Life Saving launches its summer patrol season.
Brighton and Titahi Bay Surf Life Saving Clubs are both celebrating their 75th jubilees while Paekakariki Surf Life Saving Club is celebrating its Centenary.
Surf Life Saving New Zealand CEO Paul Dalton says these anniversaries are a wonderful chance for clubbies to reminisce on their rich club history.
"Congratulations to all of these clubs on reaching these significant and exciting milestones. Well done to all those who have put in so much time and energy to organising this weekend's events. I hope you all enjoy your long weekend of celebrations!" he says.
Surf Life Saving New Zealand President Neale Ames will be in attendance at all three events.
