Well wishes for the Mundy family

Surf Life Saving New Zealand would like to send its love and well wishes to an Omanu SLSC family who has received some bad news.

Allan and Hayley Mundy found out that their son Harrison, 10, has been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer which is situated in his neck.

Harrison was rushed to Starship Hospital in Auckland where he underwent chemotherapy treatment. He will continue to undergo chemo every two weeks over the next nine or so months and surgical options will then be considered. 

These treatments will be in Auckland and all going well, once a routine is established, they will be able to return home between treatments for a few days at a time.

Hayley's work, House of Travel Papamoa, have set up a bank account for donations to help assist Allan and Hayley to be at Harrison's bedside during what will be a long 12 month journey for them.
