Cousins recognised for bravery once again
Thursday, 4 July 2013Young cousins Will White and Sergio Schuler, who saved a man from drowning at Bowentown last December, have been recognised for their courage once again.
Yesterday the boys were presented with bravery awards in honour of their actions at the Police Pay Parade awards in Hamilton.
Pay Parades are a tradition that date back from the days when Police staff had to parade and be inspected before they received their pay. Luckily they don't have to do that anymore but many regions still hold parades annually.
Back in April, Will and Sergio also became the youngest ever recipients of the Anzac of the Year Award.
