Loss to Taranaki Surf Life Saving family

Tuesday, 13 August 2013

It is with absolute sadness we have heard news that a young member of the East End Surf Life Saving family has passed away.

Keen surfer Adam Clegg, 16, had an infection and had been in an induced coma but sadly he passed away earlier today.

We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to Adam's family (mum Jo, father Simon and siblings Joel, Libby and Sophie) as well as his friends, clubbies and all that knew him.

A paddle out will take place at Fitzroy SLSC at 3pm Saturday for the formal recognition of his passing. All surfers, friends and extended family members are welcome to be there to show their love and support.

Rest in peace Adam.
