2012-2014 SLSNZ National Lifesaving and Sport Committees

Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ) is seeking expressions of interest from members who would like to apply for three appointed positions on each of the National Lifesaving Committee and National Sport Committee for the period 1 October 2012 to 30 September 2014. 

The objective of each National Committee is to assist SLSNZ in delivery and development of surf lifesaving and sport. The people we are looking for are 'all-rounders' who has had experience across a broad range of lifesaving or surf sport areas. 

They will also have outstanding relationship management skills and the ability to communicate to a diverse group of stakeholders with real impact. Ideally they are someone who has already had some experience at club and local committee level. 

These are volunteer positions with all related expenses covered by SLSNZ. Each committee will have three face to face meetings and regular teleconferences each year. For more information on the scope of the committees and requirements of the roles please read the relevant Terms of Reference attached below. 

Both Committees are responsible to the General Manager, Programmes and Services, SLSNZ.
