Club Overview
Great little family oriented club at the stunning resort of Riversdale Beach. An active surf beach 45 minutes from Masterton. You will need to book a bach to stay as there are no longer any camping grounds. Over 40 patrolling members last season and growing new guards this year. An active nipper programme running 9.00am until 1.30pm weekdays from 27th December through to carnival day. Nipper carnival on the Sunday of Anniversary weekend is always a festive occasion with a wave testing most competitors. Call in and have a look. An unusual aspect is we have Volunteers and Regional Guards on duty at the same time. Patrols are out in front of the carpark by the club house and mobile patrols run regularly the 3 km length of the beach. We will also be having a second patrol at the southern end of the beach until 14th January 2024. South end patrol will operate each day from 9.30am to 5.30pm each day.

Patrol Hours
Riversdale Beach is patrolled on Saturdays, and Public Holidays from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and Sundays 10.00 till 3.00 between 2 December and 3 March 2024. Weekday patrols are provided, Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm during 26 December 2023 to 26 January 2024.
