Club Overview

Mairangi Bay SLSC is a volunteer organisation which provides surf rescue patrols for the East Coast Bays on Auckland's North Shore. Mairangi Bay is one of 75 lifesaving clubs in New Zealand all of which are members of the national body Surf Lifesaving New Zealand.
2011, 2013, 2014 & 2015 SLSNZ Gudsell Trophy for the Club who gains the most Surf Lifeguard Awards in one year.
2015 Northern Region Awards of Excellence - Club of the Year; Best Patrolled Beach of the Year; Winner Patrol Championships
2016 Northern Awards of Excellence - Senior Competition Club of the Year
2016 Northern Awards of Excellence - Winner Northern Region Championships
2017 & 2018 SLSNZ Awards of Excellence - Gudsell Trophy (highest number of surf lifeguard awards gained - 60 (2017) 55 (2018))
2018 Northern Awards of Excellence - Senior Competition Club of the Year (shared with Piha & Red Beach
2019 SLSNZ Awards of Excellence - Gudsell Trophy. Along with Mt Maunganui LS - 48 SLA awards.
