Club Overview
Palmerston North Surf Life Saving Club has been patrolling Himatangi beach since the early 1950's. Our members come from all over including Manawatu, Rangitikei, Whanganui and Horowhenua-Kapiti.
Whether your preference is Lifeguard or Patrol Support, or you have a young one who would enjoy our Junior Surf programme, we have a spot for you. New and returning members are always welcome!

Patrol Hours
Volunteer lifeguard patrols operate on Himatangi Beach from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays in December, January and February.
