Eastern Region Surf Lifesavers head to Baywave Aquatic Centre for the 2018 Eastern Region Pool Championships

Around 190 athletes are set to take part in the 2018 Eastern Region Pool Championships, held over two days at the Baywave Aquatic Centre, which marks the first time the event has been held in a 25 metre pool in the region.

Surf Life Saving Emergency Call Out Squad re-established in Gisborne-Tairawhiti

A vital Emergency Call Out Squad (ECOS) has been re-established in the Gisborne-Tairāwhiti area after a three year hiatus, which will service the region for all surf life saving related call out operations, even outside patrol hours and including search and rescue missions.
