VOP has been developed to help put participants at the heart of decision making. It is an information tool that can be used to help make better, more informed decisions based on participants’ experiences. The report serves as strong evidence of what is really going on in clubs from a member perspective, and can be used to help inform change.

Women in Life Saving Project Group
Surf Life Saving New Zealand has formed the Women in Life Saving Project Group – a team of women who will work to understand what the barriers are to girls and women taking part in all aspects of Surf Life Saving and sport.

Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ) wishes to consult with clubs on the date from which it will be compulsory for any person crewing an IRB to hold or be completing training for an IRB Crewperson’s Module.
