The National Honours and Awards Committee oversees the recognition of outstanding service and contribution within Surf Life Saving. The Committee considers nominations and makes recommendations to the SLSNZ Board for Life Membership, Service Awards, Distinguished Service Awards, 50 Year Badges, and Sport Hall of Fame inductions. It may also recommend individuals for higher New Zealand honours.
