National Sport Committee (NSC)
The National Sport Committee provides a forum for the membership and SLSNZ to work collaboratively to facilitate the development and
delivery of lifesaving sport.
National Lifesaving Committee (NLC)
The National Lifesaving Committee acts as the custodians/kaitiaki of lifesaving, by providing volunteer oversight and voice, to ensure the needs of members are considered during the planning and delivery of lifesaving operations.

National Powercraft Committee (NPC)
The National Powercraft Committee exists to develop and improve Individual, Club and Regional capability and safety in the area of powercraft operations. We cover more than just IRBs; we also oversee
the use of RWCs, ATVs and other vehicles on our beaches.
National Infrastructure Committee (NIC)
The National Infrastructure Committee aims to enable and support clubs and communities to ‘eat their Surf Lifesaving infrastructure elephants’, ensure that SLSNZ takes a medium to long-term strategic approach towards infrastructure and act as a Design and Review Panel for SLSNZ infrastructure projects.

National Honours and Awards Committee (NHAAC)
The National Honours and Awards Committee oversees the recognition of outstanding service and contribution within Surf Life Saving. The Committee considers nominations and makes recommendations to the SLSNZ Board for Life Membership, Service Awards, Distinguished Service Awards, 50 Year Badges, and Sport Hall of Fame inductions. It may also recommend individuals for higher New Zealand honours.
