<p>COURSE OVERVIEW</p> <p>This 3 day course refines all of the skills already learnt in Surf First Aid plus extends the lifeguard in their knowledge of drowning physiology, circum-rescue collapse, and assessment of non-fatal drowning, scene management, advanced monitoring (Pulse oximetry, blood glucose, and chest auscultation) and triage.</p> <p><br />For an advanced surf first aid refresher members are required to attend Friday 6th October.</p> <p><br />(Optional) Pain Relief Module, this is a module which can be added into Advanced Surf First Aid for learners who meet the prerequisites. COURSE OVERVIEW
