COMPETITION OVERVIEW:
The New Zealand Surf Boat Trial is for Under 23 and Open Male & Female crews who wish to be considered for selection to represent New Zealand at the Trans-Tasman Surf Boat Challenge to be held on 17 February, 2024 at Lorne Beach, Victoria, Australia
COMPETITION INFORMATION
Entries may be made using the SLSNZ WAVES Online Event Entry System. Your club has access to this system and will process your entries. Following the close of entry as detailed below entry fees will be invoiced directly to your club for payment prior to the competition.
Entries Close: 9:00pm, Sunday 26th November
Competition Entry Fee: Nil
SELECTION
Selections will be made in accordance to the SLSNZ Surf Boat Selection Policy. Selectors will hold an online information session for all crews entered into the Trial on Monday 27 November.
Crews entering the Trial need to ensure all members:
- Meet the eligibility criteria for both the Trial and the Trans-Tasman Surf Boat Challenge
- Are able to travel and compete at the Trans-Tasman Surf Boat Challenge from 15 – 19 February
- Agree to pay an athlete contribution towards the campaign
