Description

The IRB Crewpersons Module is the starting point for education in the IRB. It gives Surf Lifeguards
the knowledge and skills required to respond as a crewperson in rescue situations utilising an IRB.
This event is for any lifeguards who are keen to obtain their IRB Crewpersons Module, and caters to all skill  and experience levels.
Lifeguards can be expected to be taught the necessary skills to pass their module over the course of the weekend, with an exam at the end.

At the completion of the qualification candidates will be able to:
1. Crew an Inflatable Rescue Boat.
2. Demonstrate and explain the factors involved in the set up and close down of an IRB hull.
All registrations need to be done through clubs, in the portal.
Anyone who needs their IRB crew module, that is looking to work towards their IRB drivers award this season should attend this event so they can attend our other IRB driver development opportunities that will follow this.
