<p>Since the announcements a few weeks ago (below) we have been working to find a suitable opportunity to reschedule the 2021 Club Chairs Workshop and Awards of Excellence Dinner.</p> <p>The date has now been confirmed as <strong><u>Saturday 21 May 2022</u></strong>, at Te Papa Tongarewa, Wellington (the original venue).  Hopefully by then we will be well past all the Covid challenges that are causing so much chaos this year. The general plan of the day will be:</p> <ul> <li>9.30am to 4.00pm: <a href="https://www.surflifesaving.org.nz/calendar/2022/may/slsnz-club-chairs-workshop-2021-event-rescheduled">Club Chairs Workshop</a></li> <li>6.30pm to 11.00pm: Awards of Excellence Dinner</li> </ul> <p>At this stage this is just a ‘save the date’ message. Early in 2022 we will send out a formal request for registrations so we can confirm attendees and organise the catering etc as well as get input on topics for the Club Chairs Workshop.</p> <p>2021 Award recipients will all be contacted directly soon, to let them know of the rescheduled date.</p> <p>Congratulations to everyone who was recognised online this year for their awards, read the <a href="https://www.surflifesaving.org.nz/news/2021/september/national-awards-of-excellence-2021-honour-the-outstanding-surf-lifeguards-of-new-zealand">press release here</a>.</p> Organisation
