Description
Registrations to be submitted by club lead instructors by Sunday 13th March
IRB Driver Exam - full exam of both theory and practical are being offered at this exam (subject to surf conditions). Disclaimer - the organisers will be checking the surf forecast on the week of the exam and a decision will be made to either proceed or postpone dependant on conditions - all registered candidates will be communicated to about any changes.
Prerequisites;
16 years of age (Note: No person shall train in an IRB as a driver without first being 16 years of age)
Current member of a SLS club
IRB Crewperson Module
Marine VHF Radio Operators Certificate
Surf Lifeguard Award (currently refreshed)
Minimum 10 hours logged IRB training
