<p><strong>COURSE OVERVIEW</strong><br>This is a 2-day course for people holding a current first aid certificate who wish to further their knowledge and skills to a higher qualification. Advanced Surf First Aid includes drowning physiology, circum-rescue collapse, assessment of non-fatal drowning, scene management, advanced monitoring (Pulse oximetry, blood glucose, and chest auscultation) and triage. Covering, unit Standard 29321. SLA/IRB instructors, senior lifeguards, patrol captains and SAR members are highly encouraged to complete this qualification.<br>This course has an online learning component that needs to be completed before attending the practical course. First Training will distribute further information after registrations close.
