<p> </p> <p><strong>COURSE OVERVIEW</strong></p> <p>This 1-day course commences with the refreshing of First Aid Level 1. The course content covers knowledge and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and its integration into basic life support; the management of orthopaedic trauma/medical emergencies including the immobilization of major fractures and spinal management, and the preparation of a patient in for transportation to hospital.
