<p><strong>IRB Driver Practical &amp; Theory Exam</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Date: Saturday 20th June 2020</p> <p>Location: Waihi Beach LSC</p> <p>Address: 3 The Esplanade, Waihi Beach</p> <p>Start Time: 9am </p> <p>Registrations Close 8th June 2020</p> <p> </p> <p>Instructors – please complete the <a href="/media/987130/examination_registration_form_v3-new.docx">Exam Registration Form</a> and return to <a href="mailto:poppy.crouch@surflifesaving.org.nz">poppy.crouch@surflifesaving.org.nz</a> by the close off date.</p> <p> </p> <p>Candidates must meet all the pre-reqs for the Senior IRB-Driver Award.<br /><br />Pre requisites; <br />- 16 years of age<br />- Current member of a SLS club<br />- IRB Crewperson Module<br />- Marine VHF Radio Operators Certificate<br />- Surf Lifeguard Award (held for at least six months and be currently refreshed) You must hold your Surf Lifeguard Award for at least 6 months before you start any IRB Driver training. </p> <p> </p> <p>What to bring;</p> <ul> <li>Completed and signed Candidate Workbook </li> <li><span>Wetsuit</span></li> <li><span>Towel</span></li> <li><span>Sunblock</span></li> <li><span>Water Bottle</span></li> </ul> <p>There may be a requirement for Clubs to bring boats and associated gear, we will confirm details once registrations have closed.</p> <p>If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Poppy via email.</p> <p> </p> <p><span>**Disclaimer - Conditions will be assessed closer to the exam date, venues and start times may change OR the event could be cancelled depending on conditions so please be prepared for this. </span></p> <p> </p> Development

Registrations Close 8th June 2020

 

Instructors – please complete the Exam Registration Form and return to poppy.crouch@surflifesaving.org.nz by the close off date.

 

Candidates must meet all the pre-reqs for the Senior IRB-Driver Award.

Pre requisites; 
- 16 years of age
- Current member of a SLS club
- IRB Crewperson Module
- Marine VHF Radio Operators Certificate
