<h3><strong>IRB Driver &amp; Crew Theory Exam</strong></h3> <p> </p> <p>Date: Saturday 11th July 2020</p> <p>Location: Coromandel - venue TBC</p> <p>Address: TBC</p> <p>Start Time: 6pm TBC</p> <p>Registrations Close 29th June 2020</p> <p> </p> <p>Instructors – please complete the <a href="/media/987130/examination_registration_form_v3-new.docx">Exam Registration Form</a> and return to <a href="mailto:poppy.crouch@surflifesaving.org.nz">poppy.crouch@surflifesaving.org.nz</a> by the close off date.</p> <p> </p> <p>Candidates must meet all the pre-requisites for the Award (Senior IRB Driver/IRB Crew) they are wanting to undertake.<br /><br />Pre requisites; </p> <h4>IRB Crew</h4> <p>- 14 years of age<br />- Current member of a SLS club<br />- Surf Lifeguard Award (refreshed) </p> <h4>IRB Driver</h4> <p>- 16 years of age<br />- Current member of a SLS club<br />- IRB Crewperson Module<br />- Marine VHF Radio Operators Certificate<br />- Surf Lifeguard Award (held for at least six months and be currently refreshed) You must hold your Surf Lifeguard Award for at least 6 months before you start any IRB Driver training. </p> <p> </p> <p>What to bring;</p> <ul> <li>Completed and signed Candidate Workbook </li> <li>Pen</li> <li><span>Water Bottle</span></li> </ul> <p>This exam will run in the evening and a IRB Crew practical exam opportunity will be available on Sunday 12th July.</p> <p>If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Poppy via email.</p> Development

Instructors – please complete the Exam Registration Form and return to poppy.crouch@surflifesaving.org.nz by the close off date.

 

Candidates must meet all the pre-requisites for the Award (Senior IRB Driver/IRB Crew) they are wanting to undertake.

Pre requisites; 

IRB Crew

- 14 years of age
- Current member of a SLS club
- Surf Lifeguard Award (refreshed) 

IRB Driver

- 16 years of age
- Current member of a SLS club
- IRB Crewperson Module
- Marine VHF Radio Operators Certificate
- Surf Lifeguard Award (held for at least six months and be currently refreshed) You must hold your Surf Lifeguard Award for at least 6 months before you start any IRB Driver training. 

 

What to bring;
