Coromandel IRB Instructor Development Camp

Description

This is an exciting new IRB development camp for IRB Instructors.

The purpose of this development weekend is to provide local IRB Instructors with an opportunity to develop their Instructing skills, as well an offering them the opportunity to refresh their IRB Instructor award early in the IRB training season.

The weekend will be structured as an Instructor only development day on day 1, which will include the season briefing for IRB Instructors & Examiners, the latest news and safety information in the IRB space, new IRB training resources, as well as a presentation from an external facilitator. It will also be a great opportunity to network with your fellow IRB Instructors and share teaching tips and tricks.

Accommodation is available at Whangamata SLSC on the Saturday evening and a casual dinner will also be provided. There will be no formal learning session in the evening so you are welcome to make your own arrangements for accommodation at your own cost if you prefer.

On the second day we will be inviting new IRB Driver candidates, and Instructors will be asked to plan out day 2 as part of the agenda for day 1.
