Event Overview
The Bay of Plenty Junior Championships returns for 2019. This is the only SLSNZ run junior club competition held in the Eastern Region prior to the Eastern Region Junior Championships and Oceans’ 20 and it will be looking to attract junior athletes from throughout the North Island.
The competition offers almost all of the events available at Oceans’ 20, honing the Junior Athletes' surf skills over the summer period.
Bring the family down and enjoy a fun and action packed day of racing.

Event entry is via the SLSNZ Online Entry system http://slsnz.enternow.co.nz/slsnz/. Contact you club to enter.
Entries close Monday 2nd December 2019 at Noon
All Junior Surf athletes will need to be ‘Active and Current’ and all 200m badges will need to be refreshed (to 31/01/2021) in the SLSNZ Web Portal / CRM system.
Dress of Competitors
Competitors are required to wear High Visibility Vests and club caps, however the following rule changes will also be applied: from the Surf Sport Manual 9th Ed (v3).
2.6. Dress of Competitors, 2.6.11. In team Events there must be uniformity in terms of competition caps and high visibility vests colour(s) to assist with team identification. (Tog colours uniformity removed)
