The course content covers knowledge and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and its integration into basic life support; the management of orthopaedic trauma/medical emergencies including the immobilisation of major fractures and spinal management, and the preparation of a patient in for transportation to hospital. The course will also cover patient monitoring practices in relation to the SLS environment. Description
