<p align="LEFT">This is a 3 day resuscitation course covering the following topics: assessment of emergency</p> <p align="LEFT">situations, basic life support, soft tissue injuries, bleeding, shock, fractures and head injuries,</p> <p align="LEFT">hypothermia, asthma, oxygen delivery systems, burns, asthma and basic drowning physiology.</p> <p align="LEFT">Encompasses Unit Standards 6400, 6401 and 6402.</p> <p align="LEFT">You will need to bring Lunch, pen/pencil, togs (wetsuit), towel and warm clothing. Bring wet weather</p> <p align="LEFT">gear and runners as you will be moving around for scenarios.</p> <p align="LEFT">What you should wear: Comfortable clothing. This is a practical based learning, you will be moving</p> <p align="LEFT">around a lot, inside and outside. All training equipment and assessment materials will be supplied.</p> <p align="LEFT">Bring your NZQA number to register the US available for this course.</p> <p align="LEFT">** Please note Saturday evening will be a scenario assessment where participants may be required</p> <p align="LEFT">to be in the water for a length of time. Description

This is a 3 day resuscitation course covering the following topics: assessment of emergency
