Capital Coast Missing Person at Sea Training Session 2


Missing Persons at Sea, GRID SEARCH TRAINING 

We invite all those within clubs whom are involved in all aspects of Surf Life Saving including but not limited to; coaches, junior surf parents/caregivers, patrol captains, surf sports trainings, event management and event safety to attend this fantastic opportunity to upskill and train to be prepared for the worst case scenarios. The training includes a protocol presentation followed by a practical session. There is a role for everyone to be involved in the event of a missing person at sea. If you have your SLG award and are a confident swimmer please bring the required water gear and if you are not a confident swimmer or do not hold a SLG award there are many land based roles that are critical in the protocol.   

Venue: Foxton SLSC

Time: 6:00pm 

Session Length Approx 2hrs 

What to bring: If you have a SLG award please be prepared with flippers, goggles, wetsuit, high vis-vest and a towel.
