Entries after this time will incur a $35 late fee.</span></p> <p><strong>Registration:</strong> Pre-race registration will take place on Friday night (11th September) from 6pm to 8pm at the Far North Surf Rescue Clubrooms (Takahe Street, Ahipara). All teams must attend to register and collect final event information, including directions to start, any updates to course and final lane draws.</p> <p><strong>Health &amp; Safety:</strong> All competitors must attend briefing at Far North Surf Rescue clubrooms 6.30am sharp on race day.<br /> <span style="line-height: 1.4em;"><strong>Scrutineering:</strong> All crews must be lined up in their lane order for pre-race scrutineering at 9.45am sharp. Scrutineering will involve all 3 crew members plus 1 support person standing with their IRB for final check of IRB, First Aid Kit, VHF (Channel 69) Radio and PFD's.</span></p> <p><strong>Final Race Briefing:</strong> Teams will be required to attend a final race briefing at Scott's Point at 10:15am. Please note: it is a 2 hour drive by road to Scott's point where the race will start (see maps). This briefing is to update any course changes due to the conditions. Please note: it is at the discretion of the Event Management Committee present on the day, to decide if conditions are suitable for the race to proceed or to modify the course.</p> <p><strong>Start Time:</strong> 10.30am Scott's Point (Note: Starting place at Scott's Point is subject to alteration depending on beach conditions.)<br /> <span style="line-height: 1.4em;"><strong>Course Details/Event Rules/Support Teams:</strong> See Event Rules and Course Detail documents</span></p> <p><strong>Prize giving &amp; Dinner:</strong> Prize giving and the post-race meal will take place on the Saturday evening starting at 6pm. All competitors and supporters are encouraged to attend. Each entry includes 4 meal tickets. Additional meal tickets are available at $15 each; these can be purchased at time of entry or at the pre-race registration on Friday evening.</p> <p><strong>Accommodation:</strong> All teams are responsible for finding their own accommodation.
