<h2><em>31 January 2015 - Papamoa Surf Life Saving Club</em></h2> <p>The Papamoa IRB Classic will see some of the best IRB Crews in New Zealand go head to head in one of the finest competitions of its kind in the country.&nbsp; The event is designed to offer crews fast, short, sharp, action packed racing - ultimately competing for the the chance to take home the Papamoa IRB Classic Overall Champion Trophy!!<em><strong><br /> </strong></em></p> <h1>Entry Information</h1> <p>Entries Open: Monday 1st December 2014</p> <p>Entries Close: Saturday 17th January 2015</p> <h2>Download the entry form&nbsp;<a href="/media/484052/classic-registration-forms-pap.pdf" target="_blank" title="IRB Classic Entry Form">here</a></h2> <h3>Entry Process</h3> <p>Club Entries &amp; Registration Spreadsheet are to be emailed through to the Event Manager before the 17th January 2015.</p> <h5>Event Manager</h5> <p>Shane Smith<br /> <a href="mailto:irbpapamoa@gmail.com">irbpapamoa@gmail.com</a><br /> 029 222-0735</p> <p>Invoices for entries will be emailed to your club once received.&nbsp; All entries will need to be paid in full prior to the competition commencing on the 31st January 2015.</p> <p><strong>NOTE: Papamoa Surf Life Saving Club reserves the right to stop any team from racing should payment not be received prior to the commencement of racing.</strong></p> <h3>Entry Fees</h3> <p>$115 per Crew<br /> Crew = 3 person Team - Driver, Crewperson &amp; Patient</p> <h5>Entry fee per Crew includes:</h5> <ul> <li>Event T-Shirt x 3</li> <li>Dinner at Prize-giving x 3</li> <li>Entry in the draw to win Spot Prizes - all individual crew names will be entered</li> </ul> <h3>Eligibility of Competitors</h3> <p>This competition is open to any SLSNZ affiliated club.<br /> Members must have the following qualifications to be eligible to compete.&nbsp; Papamoa Surf Life Saving Club reserves the right to limit the number of competitors per event.</p> <ul> <li>Refreshed Surf Lifeguards for the current season OR newly qualified Surf Lifeguards in the current season.</li> <li>IRB Drivers only - refreshed IRB Drivers for the current season OR newly qualified IRB Drivers in the current season</li> <li>Current Members (i.e. must not be stored in the 'Last Season Members' or 'Historical Members' folder on the SLSNZ Database</li> <li>Crews may be formed using members from different Clubs</li> </ul> <p>All competitors are to have met all of the eligibility criteria outlined above by the close of entries.</p> <p>Team substitutions must also be registered in some capacity for the event.&nbsp;</p> <p>It is the responsibility of the Surf Life Saving Club entering a Team/s to ensure that all entered competitors meet the criteria outlined above and to check all details of each athlete prior to entry.&nbsp;</p> <p>All Team Managers will be asked to sign a Team Declaration Form on Entry.&nbsp; Team Declaration Forms must be filled out and emailed with Registrations.&nbsp;</p> <p>Please ensure you include/identify who the driver of each Crew will be so that the pre-requesite qualifications can be checked off prior to the event.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Disclaimer:&nbsp; Papamoa Surf Club Inc and its representatives shall not be liable for any damage to equipment or injury to personnel while competing in the above events.</strong></p> <h3>Age Groups</h3> <p>Age group is determined by the competitor's age at midnight on 30th September 2014 e.g. if you were 14 years old by the 30th of September 2014, you are eligible to compete in the 2015 Papamoa Classic.</p> <h3>Team Managers Details</h3> <p>Please ensure that you complete the Team Managers Details Form when completing Registration. Entry Process

Club Entries & Registration Spreadsheet are to be emailed through to the Event Manager before the 17th January 2015.

Eligibility of Competitors

This competition is open to any SLSNZ affiliated club.
Members must have the following qualifications to be eligible to compete.  Papamoa Surf Life Saving Club reserves the right to limit the number of competitors per event.

  • Refreshed Surf Lifeguards for the current season OR newly qualified Surf Lifeguards in the current season.
  • IRB Drivers only - refreshed IRB Drivers for the current season OR newly qualified IRB Drivers in the current season
  • Current Members (i.e. must not be stored in the 'Last Season Members' or 'Historical Members' folder on the SLSNZ Database
  • Crews may be formed using members from different Clubs

All competitors are to have met all of the eligibility criteria outlined above by the close of entries.

Team substitutions must also be registered in some capacity for the event. 

It is the responsibility of the Surf Life Saving Club entering a Team/s to ensure that all entered competitors meet the criteria outlined above and to check all details of each athlete prior to entry.
