The NZCT Surf Life Saving Championships – the pinnacle of surf sports in the country. From the Masters (over 30s) through to NZ representatives; surf boat crews to beach sprinters; this Championship Event will see almost 1400 athletes compete over a 4 day period. This year the Nationals returns to Ohope Beach, Whakatane where one and all will enjoy the camaraderie and competitive spirit that is ever present at this event.

• 1262 competitors (U16, U19 and Open) from 44 clubs
• 256 Masters competitors from 26 clubs
• 1518 competitors with 4362 entries (that's an approximate average of 3 entries per competitor)
• 102 titles up for grabs for U16, U19 and Open
• 142 masters titles up for grabs
